Planetary Calendar Plus+ Download Page
Welcome to the 2021 Mobile Planetary Calendar Forecast Plus+ Download Page.
Instructions for downloading the Forecast Plus and installing it on your device.
Don't Worry! You will probably only need small sections of these directions. At the bottom of the page is a video about using the Plus+ Navigation Tools
An Overview
Step one shows how to get the Adobe Reader PDF necessary for using the Forecast Plus+. If you already have that, or another PDF program, which many do, you can skip that step.
Step Two shows how to download the Forecast Plus+. It is split into three sections: 1) computers and tablets 2) iPhones 3) Android Phones. Pick the one you need.
Important: To download the Forecast Plus+ PDF, you need to access this page with the device you want to put it on. To put it on a second device, forward the page link, and follow the instructions for that device, for example, you have it on your smart phone, but you want it on your tablet too. Go to this page with each device.
Step One: Get the Adobe Reader
Step One: Get the Adobe Reader
To use the Calendar, you need a PDF ‘Reader’ app. If there isn’t one currently installed on your computer, your web browser is the most likely default. To get better navigation results, download the FREE Adobe Reader onto your computer, or tablets with the link below. On smart phones you can download the Adobe Reader through your App Store. On computers and tablets these hints will help you avoid problems.
1st Hint: When installing the Reader, two ‘optional offers’ for McAfee security are automatically checked. Uncheck them to avoid annoying messages, unless it is something you need. 2nd Hint: A box for a software extension for your browser is checked. If you often access PDF docs through that device, it can help them read better. 3rd Hint: Make sure to only select the Adobe ‘Reader’, not the Adobe ‘bundle’ or the Acrobat ‘Pro Trial’, which requires a paid subscription after the trial period ends. The Calendar works on some other readers, the Barnes and Noble Nook, the Kindle, plus other generic PDF programs. While you may have one already installed that you prefer, we only guarantee the full navigation features with the Adobe Reader. When downloading the Adobe Reader instruct to downloaded EXE file to ‘run’, and then agree to the steps. It should place a Shortcut icon on your desktop.
The address for the Reader download page is
When you download the program to your smart phone through its App store, an Adobe icon should appear on the Home Screen.
Note: Alternately, there are other readers that you can possibly use, the Barnes and Noble Nook reader,
the Kindle Reader, plus other generic PDF readers. But we know it will work with the Adobe Reader.
Step Two: Down Loading the Forecast Plus+
Downloading to a Computer or Tablet
At the bottom of this web page Click the ‘Download the Forecast Plus+’ button. The Calendar will open in a separate tab on the web browser. Right Click on the browser screen and select ‘Save As’. Save it to your desktop. Now, when you Click the icon on your desktop it should open in Adobe Reader. If it opens in another program, test the navigation. If it works well, then you are set. But if it doesn’t, go into your settings and change the default program for opening PDF documents to the Adobe Reader. It will save you from having to right Click the icon each time to select ‘Open with Adobe Reader’. If you are not familiar with how to change the default App, it is simple, there are tutorials online.
Downloading the Calendar onto the ‘iPhone’.
When you Click the ‘Download the Forecast Plus+’ button below, the PDF document will open in your browser (probably Safari). On the bottom edge of the screen is a box with an arrow pointing up, indicating ‘Save To’. Click the box and rows of icons will appear indicating possible destinations. These scroll from left to right. You are looking for the Acrobat icon. If it does not appear there, scroll to the right and Click ‘More…’ and then scroll down until you find the Acrobat icon, Click on that. When the next screen opens, Click ‘Import’ to Acrobat.
Watch Out: If you see the option ‘Save it to home screen’, DO NOT SELECT THAT. You will be saving the web link instead of the document. In that format it will only work temporarily because the web page link address is changed periodically.
The Forecast Plus+ file is now in the Adobe Folder! Close all the windows except the home screen. Click on the Adobe Reader Icon. A list of the documents in the Reader Folder will appear. Click on the Calendar to open it. Click on the line of dots in the upper right corner, Click on the Star to make the file more visible in the list. In the future opening the Calendar will take two taps: first on the Adobe Icon and then on the starred Calendar name. It takes about 3 seconds. Currently, on the iPhone, there is no easy way to have a Calendar shortcut appear on the home screen.
Downloading to an Android Phone (Note: The example here is the Samsung Galaxy, so there may be some variations with your phone)
Click the ‘Download the Forecast Plus+’ button. It will download to the ‘My Files’ folder. Open your ‘My Files’ folder, choose ‘Downloads’ (or recent files), locate file ‘2021pcaldigital.pdf. Do a long press on the file to select it. With it selected, open the three-dot menu in the upper right corner. There will be four options. You can rename the file to something special to you. You can choose which App it will open with, for example, Acrobat Reader.
Most helpfully, you can create a Shortcut that will sit on your Home Screen. In that menus select ‘Create shortcut’. A box will open asking, ‘Add to Home Screen?’, tap ‘Add’. Return to the Home Screen and scroll to the right until you find the shortcut. It may be on the last page, move it to where it is convenient. Click on the icon, the Forecast Plus+ will open and it is ready to go.
Trouble shooting tip: If the file does not appear in the My File folder, Click the ‘Download the Forecast Plus+’ button again. If a box appears asking “Do you want to download this?” with the name of the file with the number ‘2’ added, 2021pcaldigital.pdf2, then it has already downloaded. Check your My Files folder again in both the ‘Recent’ and ‘Download’ folders. You may have missed it. If you have installed a separate filing system look there. You can always download a second time and delete the extra copy.
