Costa Arger is the winemaker, and his day job is as a very respected heart doctor. Coming from a Greek family he has a long history of making wine, and does a great job. Martucci, as well contributing vineyards, also contributed his son, one of the owners, as the assistant winemaker. Very much a family operation, this is a fun place to taste, with gardens, and picnic tables around the pool. Page 151

It is a small family winery that produces remarkably good wines. Their vineyards are perched on the top of the mountains between Sonoma and Napa, across the canyon from the famous Monte Rosso vineyards. You can visit the vineyards and winery at 2992 Cavedale Rd.
