Fund Raising for Wine Country @ Work TV

We have been producing our TV show Wine Country at Work since 2012. It looks behind the scenes into what makes these regions so special, and the lessons they can share about sustainability, organic and Biodynamic farming. Our fiscal sponsor is Intersection for the Arts (94-1593216), based in San Francisco.

We are funding WC@W by specific episodes that we would help with to get into wider distribution via PBS and the PEG network.  There are currently two projects we are seeking funding for.

The first video is for the Three Part series on Sustainable, Organic and Biodynamic farming looks how these approaches affect the well being and success of these regions. This influence goes beyond just the wine, to the people who live and work near the vines, their beliefs and their experience.

This second video is for the episode titled Tour Guide, which is about the small community of top flight guides that navigate Wine Country with clients. They are endlessly caught between shifting economies, changes in transportation models, the clients, the hotels and the wineries. It is a fascinating story about this unique group of tourism professionals. This currently is planned as a single half hour episode, but it may expand to a two part series.
