On this Questionnaire - there - are - no - wrong - answers, but there are better ones and they paint a picture of how you manage your work space and it measures how well that space is serving your needs. Working is easier when you enjoy being there.
The reason you need this is simple, a dozen years of class room desks has programmed you to sit where you are told, with little concern about whether it works best for you. Often it doesn’t, because your individual talents and skills are best supported by a customized arrangements. It would be great if your work environment magically rearranged itself to promote your talents, but usually it’s up to you.
All of your life parents, teachers and bosses have said ‘sit where you’re told and don’t move the furniture’, and now we’re telling you to choose your own arrangement and change it when you need to, because that is where your power is waiting. Excerpted from the Book, The Dream Desk Questionnaire
