Multi Level Wellness
Creating
a Community and Practical Secrets of the Multi Level Wellness Business

Whether
we call it Network Marketing or Multi Level Marketing or Multi Level
Wellness, this type of business does something very important. It creates
communities. Traditionally, herbalists have played an important role
safeguarding the health of their villages. As societies grew more fragmented
it became harder for people to access their trusted knowledge about
good health.
In
most businesses, information is carefully guarded. Bosses don’t want
their assistants to know too much, rightfully concerned with being surpassed
by the people supporting them.
Networks,
in comparison, are open access information and mentoring systems. In
MLW, it’s not what you know that matters, but the quality of the information
that you share with your group of distributors and members. The more
useful information you share, the more successful you all are together.
This
concept is so opposite to what most people are accustomed to that they
may have a hard time visualizing it. Imagine a large family business
operating in many locations, all using similar systems, sharing information
freely and enjoying some independence. Their individual efforts affect
their own success and they can design their businesses to suit their
lifestyles.
The
MLW business model is a hybrid. It includes aspects of Real Estate where
an agent’s efforts benefit their broker/mentor, together with sales
distribution, where salesmen receive a commission based upon the client’s
purchases from the company. Then it incorporates the Multi-Level system
where you receive commissions from the sales of the distributors you
sponsor and train, and from the distributors that they train. These
benefits can extend through many generations of sponsors, distributors
and members, and the financial benefits accumulate.
The
theory that Networks are based on goes something like this. If you sponsor
three people and they all sponsor three people and they all sponsor
three people, and so on, pretty soon you’ll have a massive group, and
all you had to do was sponsor three people. However, as we know, in
life, theory and reality often have only a passing relationship. The
MLW business really works like this. Most people join so they can buy
high quality products at discounted prices. In herbs and supplements,
the highest quality is available almost exclusively from Network companies.
Most people don’t distribute because they can’t imagine owning their
own business.
However,
the MLW business depends upon distribution and the Network community
is created through sharing the knowledge of health and prosperity. Whatever
your business’s mission, and generally, healers are committed to relieving
human suffering, without business skills your ability to expand the
benefits beyond a very small circle will be limited.
A
Network business is an ‘Information-Age franchise’. You use proven,
profitable systems, company developed tools and you enjoy the guidance
of mentors, who are personally and financially invested in your success.
The only thing that can block your path to good health and prosperity
is yourself! If you can get out of your own way, you’ll be successful
on many levels.
We
believe in the equation of 10. If we tell 10 people about our company,
1 will join. For every 10 who join, 1 will do the business. For every
10 doing the business, 1 will be a Star. For every 10 Stars, 1 will
be a Superstar. So members are 1 in 10. Business people are 1 in a 100.
Stars are 1 in a 1000. Superstars are 1 in 10,000.
There
are two ways to see that equation. First, “That’s a lot of people to
contact to make any progress.” Second, “As long as I keep at it, the
numbers are in my favor and I’ll be successful.” MLM is not a “get rich
quick” scheme. It is a “get rich gradually” system. Most people have
a “get rich never” system.
Consider,
if you contact those 10,000 people, which is not hard with modern technology,
you’ll have 1000 members, 100 serious distributors, 10 business Stars,
1 business Superstar and a very nice income with wonderful tax deductions.
There are many ways to contact people depending upon your style: face
to face, telephone, web and email, postcards, newsletters, teaching
classes, consulting, advertising, magazine columns, radio shows, television
shows, public speaking. Each one can provide valuable information to
your community of group members and distributors.
This
business’s strength is based upon human relationships, especially among
your team. You don’t develop a great relationship in one session. It
matures over time and that’s how your group grows. That first contact
may open a door and allow you to find a common ground. With time and
trust relationships develop greater dimensions. Good relationships allow
you to cooperate for your mutual success.
A
business is a system of systems. Being successful means developing those
tools. Today, that includes communication and computer skills, and an
understanding of the products. With herbs and supplements, that becomes
a life-long study of a remarkable subject, the secret of good health.
To grow your business to amazing proportions, learn the art of public
speaking. Self-improvement and life-long learning are the keys to success
in the Network business. The task of your Sponsor/Mentor is to open
doors for you in that learning process.
